Classic Tudor – Kitchen, Mudroom, and Outdoor Oasis
This exceptional design-build project by Foschi Construction Corp. transformed a classic Tudor home with a seamless blend of timeless character and modern luxury. The project included a complete gut renovation of the existing kitchen, featuring custom cabinetry, by Kenneth Doppelt Cabinetry, throughout and a new tile floor with hydronic radiant floor heating for added comfort. The existing powder room was also fully renovated with minor structural modifications and finished with elegant new tile flooring and hydronic radiant floor heat. To modernize the home, all new LED lighting, AV/data wiring, and integrated speakers were installed throughout. An extension was constructed to create a new mudroom leading to the rear yard and driveway, improving both functionality and everyday convenience. In the added mudroom, an awning canopy window helps to pass food and beverages for easy entertaining. Outside, a stunning custom outdoor kitchen and BBQ station was built with a reclaimed stone façade carefully matched to the home’s existing stonework, custom stone countertops, built-in stainless steel cabinetry, a pop-up gas connection for the owners’ pizza oven, and a new sink and refrigerator. The existing bluestone patio was expanded to more than double its original size, with a seamless transition between the old and new stonework and an exact match of the existing mortar joints. The finished transformation perfectly balances the home’s historic charm with exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and modern amenities, creating an inviting indoor and outdoor living experience that will be enjoyed for years to come.
